Many people are understandably wary about politics, but the more people who are involved, the better our government can reflect our priorities as members of the public. I’m passionate about supporting people to speak out on the issues that matter to them and helping young people to understand how politics works so they can get involved themselves, including working to change
things.

I was an elected Councillor for Labour in the London Borough of Newham in 2015-2018 and was really proud to stand as Labour’s candidate for MP in the 2024 election where I live in Oxfordshire.

The new government has a huge task ahead to re-build trust and rebuild our public services.
